sunharvestpowerDo Not Call Policy

 Updated November 1, 2023

sunharvestpower complies with laws and regulations surrounding Do Not Call, and we are committed to protecting consumer rights. We have established procedures to honor consumer requests if they desire not to be called, which include utilization of both the Do Not Call Registry as well as an internal Do Not Call List. The internal Do Not Call list contains those consumers who have requested to be excluded from receiving marketing messages by phone.

To be added to the sunharvestpower internal Do Not Call list, consumers must provide their name and phone number(s) at which they no longer wish to receive marketing messages by phone. These numbers will be added within five (5) business days of receipt of such request. Consumers can send a message with a removal request to info@sunharvestpower.com with their contact information, including full name and number(s), so that we can add to our internal Do Not Call list as soon as possible. The record will be retained for at least five (5) years.

Our internal Do Not Call list is maintained by sunharvestpower, and will be kept until a consumer makes a new consultation request, thereby agreeing to be contacted at the number(s) provided within our form. Worth noting, a request from a customer to be added to our internal Do Not Call list does not preclude sunharvestpower from contacting consumers via other marketing channels, such as email or direct mail, unless expressly requested to do so.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) gives consumers more control over the personal information that businesses collect about them and the CCPA regulations provide guidance on how to implement the law. This landmark law secures new privacy rights for California consumers, including:

In November of 2020, California voters approved Proposition 24, the CPRA, which amended the CCPA and added new additional privacy protections that began on January 1, 2023. As of January 1, 2023, consumers have new rights in addition to those above, such as:

Businesses that are subject to the CCPA have several responsibilities, including responding to consumer requests to exercise these rights and giving consumers certain notices explaining their privacy practices. The CCPA applies to many businesses, including data brokers.

CPRA amends the CCPA; it does not create a separate, new law. As a result, our office typically refers to the law as “CCPA” or “CCPA, as amended.”
